Happy Semi-Retirement, Mom-Mom!

I just realized that I never posted this... Mom-Mom took a buy-out after working for the Inquirer for almost 30 years! So for now she's in "semi-retirement", at least until the fall when she starts looking for another position. If you're looking for her this summer though, you'll be able to find her hanging out at the swim club, helping Janet run the snack bar and front gate. :-)

Congrats Mom!

Home Sweet Home

Poppy made settlement on his new house last Wednesday and on Saturday we all helped move him and Rudy into the new place. No pictures yet, but I'll be sure to add some when I take them!

Congrats Dad! :-)

Bubble-licious!

We got an automatic bubble maker last night because Katie can't blow the bubbles the old-fashioned way yet and she gets so frustrated. I try to blow them for her to pop but then she wants to try and can't do it and a melt-down ensues. She loves the bubble machine though!

Welcome to the Wonderful World of Blogging!

Karen, Chris and Maddie finally have a blog! Check them out!

Play Time

It's not all work and no play around here! After we were finishing digging, Katie played on her swing set while I collapsed in a chair, LOL. Then it was off to the bath for both of us...
Katie saying "Hello out there!"
I don't know why, but I love this picture!

Uh-oh Daddy, Katie has a boyfriend!

The Big Dig

We're putting another shed in the corner of the yard to hold all of the garden/lawn care stuff so the ground needs to be leveled out. I decided no problem, I can do it! Whew! That was a lot of dirt digging and mud slinging and I'm not even sure it's wide enough so there might be more work to do. I have more appreciation for Joseph though (he usually does these projects with a wee bit of help from me...)

Doesn't look like much here, but a lot got done!
This is where all the dirt went. I'm trying to fill in the super slope that is there!
It rained hard last night so we were squishing in mud the whole time. Eww!

Gone Baby Gone

We went to Juli's Goodbye Tonsils party on Wednesday night but I'm just getting around to posting a few pics now. Now the tonsils are already gone and Juli is back home!

Happy 1st Birthday, Livi!

Today is Livi's 1st birthday so we went over to have dinner together and sing Happy Birthday to her since her big party won't be until May because Juli will be getting her tonsils out next time Uncle James is home. So we had a mini-party tonight...
Make a wish!
Let me just take a lil' taste...
Cake is goooooood!
Katie and Juli agree
SCREAMING Happy Birthday to Livi!

Follow me to the presents!
What's in there?

But it wasn't long before Thing 1 and Thing 2 claimed it as theirs!
(Look at poor Livi's face, she's like "What the heck just happened???")
She did get it back but the girls didn't give it up easily!

Finally Updated!

Joseph and I have been so busy with the projects going on in our house that I didn't have much time to update the blog. We're finally all caught up now! Make sure to scroll down a bit so you can see all of the new entries.

Have a Nice Trip?

Katie meet sidewalk... Sidewalk meet Katie's forehead! :-(

Katie was trying to help me take out the trash tonight and she tripped and fell face flat on the cement. Her hands were on a bag so she couldn't block her fall. She hit so hard, I thought for sure it would be bad when I picked her up and turned her around, but luckily there wasn't too much damage. Nothing her boo-boo buddy couldn't cure!
