Morning "Do"

I don't know what happens while Katie is sleeping but every morning she wakes up looking like a tornado blew through her hair all night! LOL Last night's tornado must've been tame, it doesn't look THAT bad today. But looks can be deceiving! Try getting a brush through that... not fun!

New 'Do

I finally went and got my hair highlighted (and cut). I haven't had it colored since before I had Katie! It turned out really great. I just wish I could do my hair as well as my stylist did! I told her if I win the lottery, I'm going to hire her to come do my hair every morning! LOL

Hair's To You

Katie is always trying to "fix my hair", which usually means it feels like she's trying to rip each hair out of my head one by one! Tonight she finally managed to get a pony tail in my hair for the first time. Usually she tries and tries and then asks me to help. It was funny because afterwards she said "How does it look?" I put my hand up to check it out and give my standard "It's beautiful!" response when I realized she actually had made a pony tail. I turned around and said "You did it!!! You put a pony tail in my hair!" Then she just stood there staring at the pony tail in total awe of her accomplishment. I took a picture of the masterpiece that was my hairdo. I wish I had been able to take a picture of her face when she realized it was really a pony tail. It was so cute! Katie's taking appointments for new victims...er... I mean "clients"! :-)

Katie's First Haircut

Last Thursday Joseph and I took Katie to Sweet and Sassy in North Wales to get her first real hair cut. (I've trimmed her bangs a couple of times.) The place just opened in September and it's geared towards young girls. It was really cute there and Katie loved it! She did a great job with the hair cut and wants to go back again (probably because they gave her a taffy, balloon, and glitter tattoo!). They also gave her a first hair cut certificate and saved the first clip of hair. I'll have to take a picture of those and post.

Hmm, now just a little off the length... Dad, she's not cutting too much, is she?

Well, it only took 2 weeks!

Ok, so it took 2 weeks to get around to writing again! But then again I haven't even told anyone about the blog yet so it's not like there's people out there waiting for my next exciting post...

Here's some pictures of Katie from yesterday and today. Her hair getting so long, I even put it in two little buns today. She looked so cute... and grown up! :-( Katie reminds me so much of Maddie when her hair is in the braids, that's how Maddie's hair was done a lot of the time when she was little (now she'll barely let you brush it, lol).
