Almost Home...

It looks like it'll be just a few more days before Bubba breaks out of the NICU! Today, his drainage tube was gone, the IV lines in his belly button were gone, and they stopped all but one antibiotic. All he has left now is one IV for the antibiotic and then the leads for the monitors. While we were there and taking care of him, they turned off the monitors because as the nurse put it, "he's a regular baby now!". Once he finishes the course of meds, he should be cleared to come home. Looks like that'll be Wednesday or Thursday.
