We went to Jenine and Chris' house to hang out for a little while. Aunt Chrissy and Uncle John were there also. The kids had a lot of fun playing together and Uncle John and Katie were trying on some cool headwear!

After 2 days on the road and a stop at Poppy and Rudy's to pick up my car and for dinner, we were finally home and back to reality! :-( Can't wait until next year's trip!!!

Going Home - Saturday, November 10, 2007

Today we drove all the way to Winston, NC so we would have a shorter trip on Sunday. Again, all 3 girls were great in the cars letting us go further than we had planned. Before we left, we made a quick stop at the outlet mall since we wouldn't get to go again until next year BUT when we got home we found out that Premium Outlets had opened a mall not far from our house (which we checked out the Monday after we got home!). Sweet! :-)

We went to see the princesses today! But it was a 60 minute wait and the girls were very tired so we didn't get to see them. :-( We still managed to have a great time though, LOL

Disney - Sunday, November 4, 2007

Today was our first full day of our vacation. Joseph and James went golfing and the rest of us just hung around the house. Once they got back and the girls got up from their nap, we went to check out Downtown Disney shopping area. Katie and Juli made their very own princess crowns after we tried on a bunch of other silly hats. Click here to see some pics!

Road Trip - November 3, 2007

Today our trip started out from Jacksonville and we stopped at the World Golf Village. Click here for some pics from that stop. After that we were going to drive through St. Augustine and on the beach on Daytona but then James and Sandy's car was having issues and so we drove straight through to Mystic Dunes.

After some shuffling, the car was in the shop and we were in our room. We got settled into our Disney house and then went to dinner. Sandy, Mom, and I went food shopping and the guys got the girls to bed. It sure was nice to get to bed that night and not have to spend the next day in the car!

Oh, best part of this day --- Katie decided to shove a tissue up her nose when we were at the golf place. Luckily my tweezers were able to pull it out, saving us a trip to the ER for removal! Ewwww!

Road Trip - November 2, 2007

Before the crack of dawn on Friday morning, we hit the road and started driving south. Destination Disney World! Mom-Mom decided last minute to come with us so we had a extra passenger. We managed to drive all the way to Jacksonville, FL on the first night and got there at a reasonable time. I guess despite my complaining about leaving at 3 in the morning, it did work out well! Katie did great being in the car that long. I was pleasantly surprised!

Halloween - October 31, 2007

This year was the first the Daddy was home for Halloween. We had a great time visiting all of the neighbors while Mom-Mom and Pop handed out candy at our house. Then we headed down to Aunt Sandy and Uncle James' house to see Juli and Livi in their costumes and to sing Happy Birthday to Grandma.
