Our Lastest Project - Day Three - DONE! :-)

Poppy came over early this morning and they got to work! The project went smoothly and the wall is gone. I've been saying for about 3 years now that I wanted it to go so I'm really happy that it's finally down. It looks great! I can't wait until the whole thing (flooring, drywall, etc.) is finished, :-)
Working out the 'game plan'
Katie kept trying to 'help' so we went shopping and to visit Kelly and Liam so Joseph and Poppy could work in peace.
And when we got home 3 hours later, we came home to this...

Our Latest Project - Day Two

Joseph and I started building the brace walls tonight because tomorrow Joseph and Poppy are going to take down the studs and put up the new header. Katie helped us out a bit too!
The first wall going up
Katie wearing her 'safety glasses' and helping Daddy make sure the post is level.
Joseph was wearing safety glasses because he was cutting the wood so Katie went and got these sunglasses for herself so she could be safe like Daddy. :-)

Ben Like Yoda, Me Thinks!

Today we went to The Franklin Institute with Karen and Chris to see the Star Wars exhibit. The exhibit itself was a little bit of a let-down (very small), but the museum was cool! I haven't been there in years and it was so different. We couldn't spend the day because we had to get home to work on the beam project and, besides, it was SO crowded but I can't wait to go back!

We got to sit, relax, and chat for a bit while Katie tried out all the stuff with Aunt Karen and Uncle Chris. It was nice! LOL
Look at all those Katies!!!
What are you playing with, Uncle Chris?
I'm lookin' at the man in the mirror...
Here comes a bunch of Star Wars pics. After you look at them, you'll pretty much have seen the museum exhibit! LOL

Dye Job!

We have a tradition of going to Mom-Mom's house on the night before Easter to dye eggs. We always have a lot of fun and everyone gets into the egg decorating.
