My Best Friend

Yesterday morning Katie came into my room and hopped into bed around 7am. We needed to get up and get ready for work and school but I was still snoozing, avoiding getting up! Katie usually asks me to turn on the TV right away but instead she just kinda laid there quietly. Then out of the silence, she said "I'm your best friend, right Mom?" (awwww!!!) I said "You sure are!" and then she said "Yeah, because we do EVERYTHING together!" (melt my heart!)

Katie's 2nd Birthday Party

Although we were short on kids because of a virus going around (Katie had it earlier in the week but was better by Saturday), we had Katie's birthday party yesterday. The weather was great and lots of people came to help Katie celebrate her "dirthday". She loved having everyone sing Happy Birthday to her. I think she was singing the loudest!
