Our Christmas Eve
Joseph was able to get off of the boat earlier than usual on Christmas night so he was able to join us at James and Sandy's house for a while. Then we headed home, got ready for Santa to come (put out some milk and cookies for him to enjoy), got Katie to bed, and then exchanged our Christmas gifts since the next morning would be all about Katie!

Somehow I only wound up with one picture at James and Sandy's house, so here it is...

Christmas Morning at Mom-Mom and Pop's House
Here's our Christmas morning at Mom-Mom and Pop's house. Santa came to bring Maddie presents but he hit our house on his way back to the North Pole so that we could open gifts when Joseph got home from the boat. Katie still had plenty to open though with her gifts from Aunt Karen, Uncle Chris, and Maddie, Mom-Mom and Pop, Two Mom-Mom, Uncle Joe, and Kim. And we still had to go to Aunt Sandy and Uncle James' house after that to exchange gifts with them and Grandma!
Hmmm, what have we got here???

Christmas Eve

There is a Mall God...
...and today he shined upon me! LOL I had to go to JCPenney at the mall to pick up Katie's Christmas pictures (I'll post them in a separate post) and was REALLY dreading it because I knew it would be ridiculously crowded. When I got there, the parking lot was packed and there were cars everywhere! So I worked my way around to the entrance I needed to go in and figured I'd wind up parked on the outskirts of the lot (and today it's rainy!). But here's the spot I wound up with:Yes, that is the first spot right in front of the store. Woo-hoo, go me! LOL So to celebrate my presidential parking, we went shopping! I was just going to pick up the pictures but we walked around the mall (which strangely was not nearly as crowded as the parking lot!) and I picked up 3 more little gifts. So I guess I have to break out the wrapping paper again...
Finally Finished!
We're all set for Christmas! Got all the presents wrapped for our family and friends and it filled up all of the space under the tree. Good thing we'll be seeing everyone before Santa comes to our house or there would be no room under the tree for Santa to leave Katie any presents!!!
Big Pimpin', Sayin' Cheese
Katie dug out her pimp daddy hat this morning and then wanted me to take pictures of her wearing it. So here's some pics from her "photo shoot":

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree!
Here's our tree this year (and yes, that is a Star of David on the bottom - Thanks Maddie! LOL)
And our window decorations from the inside because it was too darn cold and windy to go take any pics outside. I'll try to take some of the house from the outside when it's not so windy and post them too!

Got Milk?
Today Katie and I baked lots of Christmas cookies. I'm so sick of looking at cookies! LOL
Actually, Katie didn't really help with the baking, she just played Play-Doh while I was busy baking, which was a BIG help! Then afterwards when the cookies were on the table cooling, she kept sneaking cookies for "taste tests". :-)
I'm in charge of the chip cookies, Mom-Mom does the roll cookies, Mom does the press cookies and some others, and this year Karen is doing the peanut butter blossoms (my fav!) and walnut balls (Joseph's fav!). If I don't see another chocolate chip for a while, I won't mind!
