Oh, the people you will meet...
Bubba's been busy since he came home meeting all of his family and friends. Today Aunt Sandy and Livi stopped by, Poppy brought Maddie over (and Katie went with them for a sleepover at Poppy's house!), and then Aunt Chrissy and Uncle John came over last night (forgot to take pics of their visit though). What a social butterfly!

Ryan's First Bath
We expected Bubba to hate bath time because he's not a big fan of being messed with. He acts like changing his diaper is torture and any time clothes have to go over his head he freaks out. Surprisingly though, he liked the bath. At the end though, he was starting to get chilly so he wasn't too crazy about it. He just wanted a nice warm towel by that point!
Ok, this is not too bad!

It's A Girl!
No, not Ryan, LOL. Karen and Chris found out today that they're having a girl! :-) Karen is really excited that it's a girl, although a boy would have been nice for Ryan and the new baby since they're only going to be about 5 months apart. Chris and Maddie still need some adjustment time to embrace the news, lol.
Aunt Karen finally gets to hold Bubba
Now she can stop crying, LOL. Aunt Karen and Uncle Chris stopped by after their ultrasound appointment today so that Karen could FINALLY get a chance to meet Ryan without the glass window between them, :-). Uncle Chris decided he'd wait a little longer to hold him but Aunt Karen wasted no time getting to him!

Guess it really was positive!
Mom-Mom, Pop, & Grandma Visit Today
Mom-Mom and Pop came to visit with Ryan and not long after they left, Grandma came over too. Everyone got a chance to snuggle with him for a while and I'm sure there's a lot more where that came from in store for him, :-).

Ryan's First Visitor and Welcome Home 'Party'
Poppy came over tonight to see Bubba so he could finally get the chance to hold him. We also had a little 'Welcome Home' celebration for Bubba. Katie and Joseph made a cake last night and I icing and decorated it because Katie wanted to sing happy birthday to Bubba when he came home. We thought it was a fun idea so we went with it, :-).
Katie and Bubba
We decided not to tell Katie that Bubba was coming home today, figuring if she knew we'd have a hard time getting her to go to school so we could go pick him up. When she walked in the door tonight, I was holding Bubba on the couch. When she saw him, her face lit up and she said "The baby got to come home!!! ... Can I pet him?" LOL
All night, everything was all about "my brother"! We spent the night going over the 'rules', repeatedly, :-). It'll take a little while before Katie understands the things she can and can't do with Bubba. I'm figuring in a few days, he'll be 'old news' once she realizes he doesn't do much more than sleep, eat, cry and poop!
